Top 5 Consumer Finance Apps on Android in UAE for Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates showcased varying performance trends. Here’s a detailed analysis of their weekly downloads and active user statistics, based on data from Sensor Tower.

CBD - Instant digital banking saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 17.8K in the week of June 20. The app's weekly active users also surged, rising from around 37.3K at the end of March to nearly 58K by the end of June.

Al Hilal Digital experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a significant spike to 17.5K in late March, followed by a period of lower numbers, and then another rise to 9.5K by the end of June. Active users showed a similar trend, with a peak of 40K in the final week of June, up from 34.3K at the end of March.

ADCB maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching up to 8.7K in the last week of June. The app's active user count grew consistently, starting at around 84.3K in late March and climbing to approximately 97.2K by the end of June.

FAB Mobile demonstrated remarkable growth in weekly downloads, particularly notable in early June with a peak of 21.9K. This surge reflected in the active user base as well, which increased from 71.7K in late March to 96.6K in mid-June, before slightly declining to around 69.9K by the end of the month.

YAP – Your Digital Banking App showed a steady climb in weekly downloads, peaking at 8.1K in mid-May. Although detailed active user data is not available, the download trends indicate a growing user interest throughout the quarter.
